It’s definitely been feeling like fall here on the East Coast and what a better way to bring in the season by taking a trip to Salem, Massachusetts with my daughter and some friends! It was my first vacation since COVID hit and a much different experience from pre-quarintine vacations but we made the most of it and had a blast! It was nice to take a break and come back inspired with all the things Salem had to offer: A Spell Garden with a Pirate Witch, Haunted Houses, Museums, great food and cocktails and a really insightful Tarot Card reading. Just by walking around you can tell the town has a thriving art community, I’m so glad I had the opportunity to go! I’ve been busy working on my upcoming sale November 27th, here is another sneak peek at a piece, can you tell I’m inspired by my trip! I’ve also have been doing some design work as well, as a product designer the main holiday is Christmas, so it’s pretty much Christmas all year round for me which I love, however Halloween is one of my favorite holdiays!! That is a reason among many other reasons why I love to paint, it is a chance to just do it for myself and let go. I go wherever the paint takes me. It’s my outlet. It took me a long time to realize how much I need an outlet, everyone does, and even if I squeeze in 5 mins to paint it’s a win! What type of outlets do you have or want to have? It’s doesn’t need to take up a lot of time, just fitting in a few minutes a day can be a big help and a big change. Self care has been a big goal for me the last few years.
