Eeeek! This past week on November 8th I turned 42 years old! (I think? yeah 42 lol.) I was fortunate that I didn't have a quarantine birthday like so many others this year and got to spend it with my family and close friends so I feel very lucky and grateful. My 40’s have defintly been my best decade yet, it only took 42 years to finally start feeling comfortable in my own skin ha ha. I’ve learned so much about myself and where I want to go by putting the breaks on and just listening. It’s not easy all the time, but it helps to stop and just listen to yourself and what you are feeling, your path is there but sometimes it’s hiding in plain site waiting to be found.
Like everyone else I never thought the past year was going to play out as it did, but I’m taking all the positives that came from it and using that as my momentum for this next year: I’ve developed new art skills, I’m pushing myself out of my comfort (hello newsletter and blogging more!) and I’m establishing a daily routine even though 2020 is a year without routines in my opinion, onward and upward!
